Honoli’i Beach Park
Black sand and coral make up the beach. This is park is very popular with local surfers and is one of the best places to surf on the east. The waves are consistent and your find that the waters can be rough, especially in the winter. There is a pond to the north of the beach, which is a good spot to swim. There is a grassy area that sees some shade, perfect for picnics. There lifeguards on site, toilets are provided. Parking is however very limited.
KONA. Spend the day in Kona and see all it has to offer. From quaint little shops, to great restaurants and . . . .
HILO. Take your time and explore everything from dramatic waterfalls and lush rainforests . . . .
