The beach is made of lava rock and if you are going to go into the water you should be wearing reef shoes. The lava has formed many underwater caves and tunnels, which can be found about 15 to 45 feet below the surface.
The is an 80-acre marine conservation site and has a very unique collection of marine life. Green sea turtles and white tip sharks are common here, don’t worry, white tips are relatively harmless. There are many colorful tropical fish here to.
